Former San Jose Sharks player Dan Boyle has put his 5,700 square foot, 5-bedroom, 7-bath home in Monte Sereno up for sale for $5.498 million. Alternatively, you can rent the residence for $15,500 a month. Boyle signed with the New York Rangers over the summer.

Among the highlights: A huge shark mount above the fireplace mantel in the billiards room, as well as other hockey memorabilia.
Set on an acre, the house features a custom pool and spa, pool house, home theater, gym and four-car garage.

Janee Medved of Claremont Properties is the listing agent for the property.
